A one hour documentary film, originally simulcast on all television stations in the State of Hawai'i. The film focuses on issues related to adolescent drug use and meth addiction and its affects on children, those who use drugs and those who live with parents who are addicts. The film covers what friends and parents can do in these difficult situations.

For those who believe that the meth epidemic is on the decline, they are mistaken. One simply has to listen to Hawai'i's teenagers. It's Your Choice is a half hour film featuring teens -- some from families ruined by drug addiction, others determined to never fall into the cycle of abuse that haunts too many American families.

This program was produced for elders who may be experiencing abuse in their families and behind closed doors. It addresses the growing problem of elder abuse in Hawai'i's communities often caused by children or spouses who are substance abusers. Elders who have lived through the pain and shame of this kind of abuse, address issues that often remain unspoken for fear of retribution or embarrassment.
